About House Music Weekend Sanctuary

Our Story

The idea for House Music Weekend Sanctuary was conceived in 2017 after Djforty and his wife, Marta saw the Tyler Perry movie BOO 2: A Madea Halloween.

In that movie there was a Halloween "rave" at a campsite. Djforty being "All Things House Music" said - "why don't we do something similar using the backdrop of house music?" - and VOILA - House Music Weekend Sanctuary was born.

We are seven years strong, the longest running house music and camping event out of the Chicago area.

Over the years our location may have changed, but we still deliver the same magic and heat that you've become accustom to year after year.

Our Mission

At House Music Weekend Sanctuary, we believe that house music is the universal language that unites ALL people. We also firmly believe in the power of outdoor spaces to create a cleansing and healing atmosphere.

House Music Weekend Sanctuary provides an opportunity to escape, connect and be inspired. We live for community and strive to provide an environment of intimacy, positivity, inclusion and creativity that leaves a memorable and lasting impression on our guests.

What are the dates for House Music Weekend Sanctuary?

House Music Weekend Sanctuary 2025 will take place on August 10 @ 9 am through August 12 @ 3pm. PLEASE NOTE - NO ENTRYALLOWED BEFORE FRIDAY @ 9:00 AM

In there access to enclosed bathrooms and shower facilities on the premises?

YES! This year there will be access to private bathrooms and showers. Please note, you can still create your personal space at your campsite. And, there will be port-a-potties scattered throughout the campsite.

Can I bring a generator?

Indeed! IN fact the use of generators is strongly encouraged as there is limited access to electricity.

Can I get a refund?

All sales are final. Purchases are non-refundandle.

Can I bring my dog?

No pets are allowed on the campsite.

Are children allowed?

Due to an adult theme and atmosphere no persons under the age of 21 will be admitted.
